Rod joined Aviso Broking in January 2022 in the position of Chief Financial. Rod is responsible for financial planning and budgeting, financial control and reporting, treasury, tax and finance and company secretary.
Immediately prior to joining Aviso Broking, Rod held senior executive positions across two businesses within the investment portfolio of a Sydney based Private Equity Firm. These positions involved restructuring all aspects of the businesses to restore profitability and move forward on a sustainable business model in preparation for exit by the major shareholder.
Prior to this, Rod held a number of senior Executive positions across publicly listed and Private-Equity backed companies both in Australia and the UK.
Rod holds the degree of Bachelor of Commerce and is a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.
